Approximate translation of the review
That's all right to Argentina that we just ACID RAIN, progressive metal formation officiating at track since 2004 and we are delivering just the first album Long-term The Descending Line, with Virtual Studios recorded in auto production. Unfortunately, this version is only demo three titles that we can listen.

The first impression one gets from listening to these three songs is a deep frustration ... frustration of not being able to listen to advantage! The songs are energetic and catchy, the melodies easily remembered, and many catchy riffs make me feel strong. Research at the keyboard sounds, structures, melodies or solos to Andrés Blanco and Mariano Revilla (guitarist of the time of registration) without being intensely technical, remains 100% effective and efficient and thus pieces as The Never-ending Nightmare and The Descending Line are a solid place in the memory of the listener. The

-style metal ofACID RAIN appeared to be influenced by such greats such as DREAM THEATER or SYMPHONY X , but far from us serve compositions "paste", the group makes little things here and there that gives them an identity clean. I think such intervention vocal about Micaela Dive under The Light Inside You, which proposes a chorus energetic, powerful and well proportioned, and gently reminds the chorus of Clare Torry on the The Great Gig In The Sky piece of PINK FLOYD (Album Dark Side of the Moon), and the introduction of The Descending Line, Agustín Uriburu magnificently performed by the cello. These little goodies that make the listening ofACID RAIN very nice and original.

However, there is a but. Although the vocals stick perfectly with the pieces, a slight lack of vocal technique from Sebastián Fernández does not go unnoticed, as her singing often seems approximate level of accuracy. I also firmly believe that too often plays with the limits of height, which is a shame because in a piece like The Descending Line, the ballad that the band offers us singing too strong and makes listening less pleasant. His tone of voice is still very pleasant and vaguely recalls Rod Tyler, the first singer of SYMPHONY X.
Finally, I reproach the side a bit too " FM " group, where the The Light Inside You piece progressive metal side is very shy and hides behind sounds simple and easy listening, single perfect way to hang d advantage trend that rock metal, and even less progressive metal. This sample of

first album The Descending Line ofACID RAIN gives therefore actually want to listen more to discover whether the advantages found in these three titles would be confirmed, and if possibly some negative points are forgotten during the Listening to the album in its entirety. A consultant to progressive metal fans!
