UFO Warning! .. AYIN ALEPH is a Russian born artist who has already released an album in late 2007 and met with some success, especially critical.
This lady has the distinction of writing, composing, singing (many different ways, including the opera singing) and playing the piano with a certain virtuosity, and this first opus made us into his world full of very special lyric music, Baroque and real dark, all coupled to a dark and visually evoking the '50s or the late nineteenth century ...
However, Ayin Aleph II is not really a new album, but rather a sound proofing of 8 of 19 (!) Thus, all the music ofAYIN ALEPH, complete artist, passionate and creative, because it is very special, can not please everyone and can not leave an impression subdued. We love or hate, but nothing in between.
Personally, I would say that I am not at all reached back into his tortured world and aggressive, I do not like his voice and his singing (too volatile and too sharp), not more than his compositions, and, yet extremely fond of acoustic exercises of all kinds, I'm not at all been touched by anything in this album ... I'm so into the second category.
However, I can not advise you that too, if you like classical music baroque, piano, song lyric, or simply innovation and musical experimentation, and if the absence of classic metal instruments (guitar , bass, drums) do not bother to give this a chance to listen full artist album.
