Rocking again!
Approximate translation of the review
The " Rock Stars " to SQUARE have returned to tell you!
for those who have not experienced the 80’s (or not interested), SQUARE released in 1985, an album called Rock Star !
say that this group has unleashed passions at the time, would be a lie ... A good album that contains two or three very good reasons.
Besides a second album was composed in 1987 and he will never see the day ...
then the time is past, and it took little renewal of Hard / Heavy " Made In France " 2002, and especially the Paris France Festival of 2008 SQUARE to find a new name STILL SQUARE !
The group will participate in a spontaneous and very nice, with MADE IN France 1978 / 2008 of the Hard Heavy French anthology (see link on the homepage).

In early 2010 I received the CD promo of brand new album and my turn to speak, because the group is currently looking for the label that released shortly.

Firstly welcome the pouch that an audience sees a little "special" because it is the head of fans who sent in their group picture ... One way to show the warmth and passion of STILL SQUARE, Bravo!

This new STILL SQUARE is a real pleasure for the ears fan of the Hard / Heavy that I am! Everything is there! Energy, singing in French typically " French 80’s ", refrains and efficient production entirely correct.

During my first listening I thought it was ten new titles and it is only recently that I discovered that only Passe Ton Chemin , which opens the album and Maitresse d’Un Soir (a ballad) appear to be compositions recent (if I'm wrong thank you to comment)!
In fact you will have the opportunity to discover almost all the compositions of the 1987 album that was never officially released! Of course all the titles have been fully resumed and re-registered! The Guy HOC song is always excellent!

You will have a series of securities between Hard Rock and Heavy Métal 100% in the mold 80’s ! The best tracks are at the beginning of the album, Manoir Hanté, Accepte, Pour Dieu Et Le Roi, Condamnés and Sorcière. The others are a very good level and (from the ballad too much for my taste) there is no drop in speed! All

of Hard Heavy 80’s French fans will soon be so interested in this authentic slice of national history!
For influences I could compare STILL SQUARE to a mixture ofATTENTAT ROCK (Le Gang Des Saigneurs) and VULCAIN, all with a more refined.
ACDC is also present on certain titles, like Laissez Les Rêver !

As ROZZ, STILL SQUARE is a group that reveals a "positive" and reasoned, what was most needed in an environment " Métal 80’s " a little too complacent and uninspired in recent years. The video showing part of the making of registration

I can no of course not possible to judge STILL SQUARE 2010 on new compositions, I will therefore welcome this very good feedback that I hope will call soon and a new album few (see many) together share the hexagon!

Rock On Jp (Still Square)"
