Approximate translation of the review
11 years that PRIMAL FEAR delivers his heavy muscular and melody metal to us.
Here thus 16.6 (Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead), the new offering of German.
an album which makes following very made a success of New Religion of 2007!
the receipt is thus known aficionados group and this 16.6 (Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead) re-uses the same ingredients.
Magnus KARLSON, the prolific Swedish guitarist (STARBREAKER, ALLEN/LANDE, BOB CATLEY) since his participation in the New Religion joined the group.
PRIMAL FEAR trusted Dennis WARD and Achim KOELER for l' recording and the mix of the 15 (of which l' intro) compositions and Mat SINNER, the bass player singer of the group produced l' album.
the group profits d' a really exceptional sound!
On the other hand, side compositions, j' have a flat has to formulate.
L' melody inspiration seems much gravitational to me than the predecessor and certain titles miss d' explosions!
the group even will write a title plus metal, one Soar enough surprising! But in the tendency of the moment!
Ralf SCHEEPERS proposes a song more worked to us than in the past but not always in the direction of best.
Brief, a rather long album which confers on my melody appetite a feeling of lack…
L' aggressivity took the top, the melodies suffered from it!
traditional a enough album for which I feel a lack of savour.
Same if technical quality remains with the height, I deplore a more nervous turn and this n' is not the PRIMAL FEAR that j' like more.
Raskal, our specialist be Heavy Métal has which j' asked l' opinion m' writing: " Indeed less melody and more " bourrin" that its predecessor, some titles very sometimes melody hookers, some titles. A good album but without genius and too inconstant! "
Voilà which summarizes the situation well!
title Six Times Dead (16,6) is the only one to leave me d' a form of musical lethargy!
Good night.

Comment by Rémifm : Yes, Rémifm did not infuse science ... or like this album! This is not the PRIMAL FEAR I like ...
But am glad that others appreciate!
It would be funny if we were all the same!
