I discovered this band on Myspace before they signed the contrat with Violent Journey Rec, and I immediately became a Fan of the Demo songs! I even put few moment one of their song on my profile! It took some times before I could listen to this first CD…but what a fantastic result! You want 80’s like HEAVY METAL without concession? You only want screaming “Heavy Métal guitars”, awesome melodies, catchy choruses and great production? So you found the CD you have to buy immediately! ADASTRA The Last Sunset! If you are into 80’s I have the best way to tell you what ADASTRA sound like…You remember the great German band called NOISEHUNTER? Yes Federal Republic of Metal, Made out of Steel, The City’s Gonna Burn or Rock’n Roll Outlaws, you remember these gems? Well just imagine ADASTRA is the 2007 Swedish answer to NOISEHUNTER! Even the voice is similar, it’s incredible! Believe me if you want but since yesterday I have listen this CD around 8 times and the most exciting it’s that I want more and more! ADASTRA found the perfect mix between the 80’s Heavy Metal and actual Melodic Heavy Metal! No Keyboards, no ballad, no technologic effects! ONLY MELODIC HEAVY METAL as I’m sure you all dreamed about! ADASTRA you’re surely my 2007 TOP Album and I hope it will give ideas to other bands that didn’t understood that in 2007 we can play 80’s HEAVY METAL without being “has been”!
