A must for the underground 80's!
Approximate translation of the review
The release of For The Universe chronicled is that of RUSTY CAGE, which added this album 1984 bonus of EP released in 2009, Fear (read review on this site).

The Holland Group has released two albums, For The Universe (1984) and Darkness At Time’s Edge (1985). The
mark was the HIGH VAULTAGE st edition CD with several bonus on each CD, some years ago already.

MARTYR of Heavy Metal 80’s offers fast, melodic and powerful, a true joy for those who love the 80's! The cover of For The Universe immediately gives the thrill!
Merely seeing you imagine the style already!

After a short intro, the title will seduce Speed Of The Samuraï immediately, fast and direct, he is the epitome of Heavy Metal 80’s Underground !
The instrumental The Eibon is also a model of its kind, in a spirit SATAN (Court In The Act)! One notes the appearance of a few seconds of keyboard that worry you, do not spoil anything in this fabulous epic as the formidable rhythm!
Four Walls still on the same fast tempo and again we can only make the connection with groups of NWOBHM or SATAN as BLITZKRIEG !
The Awakening is more atmosphere, with nice changes of pace and atmosphere really great! In a way I can compare the title that will shortly after the U.S. HEIR APPARENT. For me the best album title!
Black Sun will be in continuity and purpose that will make you Headbanger ! And this is not the quiet passage in the middle of the track that spoil the fun, quite the contrary!
and finally to Requiem, a two-minute outro that you will return to earth gently.

You have understood this first album of MARTYR is for me a must 'sUnderground 80's!

I encourage you to find out if the style is part of your world ...! The

bonus that you will find the version HIGH VAULTAGE are
Snow and Fire (demo) 4:42
Into The Abyss (demo) 5:03
Under This Sign (demo) 5:34
English Forces (demo) 9:11
Invisible Touch (demo) 5:16
En Masse (Stand Or Die) (demo) 5:12
Snow And Fire (demo) 4:26
Speed Of Samurai (raw mix) 4:33
