The roots of folk rock
Approximate translation of the review
If TEMPEST foremost loves the stage, playing a music stream "live" with a pint of beer as a companion (hello cliché), the group, more than 20 year career, after all, has a rich discography, with a dozen studio albums, all available from the label MAGNA CARTA. Originally

U.S. TEMPEST is made up of a Norwegian singer, Lief SORBYE, who also plays mandolin, flute, harmonica and bodhran, among others, a British guitarist, James CROCKER, and 3 musicians U.S.: Michael MULLEN violins, bass and Damien GONZALES to Adolfo LAZO, of Cuban origin, on drums. Another Dawn was recorded and produced again by Robert BERRY, which executes all the keyboard parts.
TEMPEST working brilliantly since its inception, to live a Rock Celtic Folk and Progressive influences Roots (Jomfru) are noticeable. The instrumental tracks (The New Squire, Dagda's Harp, High Rise and furious final) alongside songs whose origin is in Norway, Scotland, Ireland or Great Britain. As an opening, the musicians call the day as a group GRASS ROOTS, Live For Today (1967). By turns fiery, bouncy, and weighted or appeased, leaving sometimes a rhythmic Rock to allow more space for mandolins, violins, flutes and other 4, 5 or 6 strings, the 10 tracks on this album take us once closer to the original roots of Folk Celtic. Because you need not specify, the music is TEMPEST miles away compilations labeled "Celtic" for large surfaces.
TEMPEST thus leads his longship on the wave of inspiration and creative force away from all these pictures and lengths of films that accompany this musical. And as my neighbor so well summarizes zinc hop "is a group capable of raising the sap in a tree in plastic!"

Du celtique intelligent, bien écrit et interprété dans un style Folk/Rock frais et mélodique. Une belle surprise pour celles et ceux qui aiment sortir des sentiers battus et ouvrir de nouveaux horizons de plaisirs sonores... Belle chro Tattooed B3 !
