Approximate translation of the review
Beto VASQUEZ, this Argentinian whose project is more known under the name of BETO VASQUEZ INFINITY, project having gathered great names of the scene metal (confused singers and musicians), left this year its new opus: Darkmind , on which found themselves this time and amongst other things,Marcela BOVIO( STREAM OF PASSION ),Olaf THORSEN( VISION DIVINE ), andSandra SCHLERET( ELIS) inspecial guests.

For this album, VASQUEZoffers a resolutely melody metal to us whose massive orchestrations and female choruses make all the force. The tone is given as of the beginning with title From Your Heart , where the voices of two singers lead for the album, Jessica LEHTOand Karina VARELA, resound in chorus and are interfered with a very beautiful unit cords, thing which one will be able to only continue to appreciate thanks to pieces Magical Moments Of Time , Sleeping In The Shadows(let us note in the passing the superb intervention of a saxophone!),Close Your Eyes, Memories Of Reinglow

Solos of guitar or solos of keyboards, lyrical flights and thorough heavy (female or male) will be always of the part. The pieces have each one their small no-claims bonus, the voices evolve/move and environments change with the liking of the titles. The instrumental parts will not surprise the fans of the first hour, but will not disappoint them therefore. It is always one heavymetal symphonic and melody fascinating that we have there, testify some the titlesKingdom Of Liberty, Mystic, Chronicles Of A World Without Gods

Two small flat however. Song heavy , as well female as male, is unfortunately not always very just and often suffers from a regrettable forced passage at the professional level, as for example titles Kingdom Of Liberty, Chronicles Of A World Without Godsand Darkmindattest it. Damage also that the quality of the production is not with the height of such a project. The rhythmic guitars sound terribly artificial, and the unit (except for the song and of guitarslead ) lack cruelly of energy.

Darkmind is thus not onealbumabsolutely original even if the pieces are let listen with pleasure. Slightly disappointing perhaps for the ears in evil of innovation, just satisfactory for the not very demanding listeners.

Melody: 3/5
Technique: 3/5
Originality: 2/5
Production: 2/5
