RAVENTALE is the project of only one man, an Ukrainian evolving/moving under pseudonym Astaroth.After is its fourth album and, for all to say, a success, in very Net progress compared to the three preceding albums ( On A Crystal Swingin 2006, Long Past Days in 2008, Mortal Aspirations in 2009). Astaroth always privileged one Black Metal rich person in depressive atmospheres and Mortal Aspirationsshowed already a will to clarify total sound architecture. With a much better production and an adequate mixing, it is what makes a success of superblyAfter.

Of its roots Black Metal, RAVENTALE preserved the song halfway cavernous and laryngitis, not very original in oneself but sufficiently melted in an instrumental matter differently more enthralling. Astaroth slowed down the tempo, it takes from now on care to detail well at the same time its riffs throbbing and its melodies entêtantes, arrangements of acoustic guitar and keyboards are integrated marvelously well into the electric substrate. The intrinsic effectiveness of the compositions is some reinforced and made emotional is quite simply multiplied by ten. Over the last title (without title) or over imposing the Gone (10 minutes with the garrot), the listener is literally dominated by one Black Metal with the borders of theDoom ; it is superbly depressive, majestic, sometimes lyric.
