As all young group which is respected, EIDON, formed in 2008, makes its training thanks to many concerts (springboards, festivals, festivals of the music…), mainly in the area of Turns d' where it is native. Obvious result, is born, after many repetitions, a first EP 5 titles: Fantasia, produced, mixed, masterized by the group and recorded with Mettray, the studios "La Perée".
EIDON is made of 6 musicians: Gabrielle with the song, Cécile with the keyboards, Thibaut and Sébastien with the guitars, Geoffrey with low and Damien with the battery. And all all and took part in l' writing of these 5 compositions.
From the superb intro with the keyboards with the removed soli guitars of Thibaut at the end of the compositions (Death Moon, Angel Inspiration), l' together breathes the serious one, l' application and work. Their Métal, with the orchestral and symphonic accents, is tonic, rate/rhythm, aired by omnipresent keyboards, with the influences (perhaps still too marked…) from the NIGHTWISH, VISIONS OF ATLANTIS and other groups of the same universe. The melodies are accrocheuses, full d' energy. Moreover, the group with the chance d' to have a remarkable singer in the person of Gabrielle. Its voice and its lines of song are an enchantment (Fantasia), all in accuracy and smoothness. Again, we think obviously of all those which know or knew glory, from Anneke to Tarja…, but also, more close to us, to Maud HENT (CEPHEE LYRA). Lyric or more " posé" , its song one is crowned asset for EIDON. Time d' a title, Tendre Indifférence, the group gives up l' English to express a certain melancholy, in French. In l' spirit and l' writing, this title makes me think, and c' is to be taken here as a compliment (because what it is said and written…), so that composes Nicola SIRKIS d'INDOCHINE (amongst other things with Melissa VAN DER MAUR, Le Grand Secret).
the rhythmic one (battery), which without being blâmable, lack with my taste d' a peel of relief and character. Another small quibbling, j' felt throughout Fantasia light a faintness with the sounds of cymbals, perhaps too ahead.
Remainder the sound of this first EP which is as for him just correct.
In any case, EIDON fact state d' a technical potential and d' writing encouraging and clearly posted. Fantasia is a quite beautiful first calling card, that the group, while continuing on its impetus, should quickly see being distributed widely. And for us d' to await consistent and fringant first album. Good continuation young people people and. so long!
