Small fall of melody mode!
Approximate translation of the review
Here which I wrote, two years ago (2009) to conclude my chronicle of Everest, next to last album of SHAKRA : "Good road Mark and appointment in two years for a new album of SHAKRA with a new singer!"
SHAKRA is as a Swiss clock, as soon as arrives the 24 months, v'là that a new opus sees the light of day...
After climbing brillamment the road of the success with Everest, could the group climb higher?
My humble opinion in an instant, let's greet first of all arrived it from a new singer within the formation, in this case John PRAKESH, endowed with if it is some and that possesses a vocal stamp "ad hoc" for "performer" with SHAKRA !
We are close, in terms of voice of the two talentueux predecessors, to knowledge Mark FOX (2002-2009) and Pete WIEDMER (1997-2002)!
The remainder of the troops remains unchanged and always talentueux with to the guitars Thom BLUNIER, (It produces admirably this new album) and Thomas MUSTER, Dominik PFISTER to the low one and Roger TANNER to the battery.
Next, let's come in to the content, is a body of 12 titles for 48 minutes of a Hard-Rock sturdy, muscular and mélodique.
For the side "big arm", this is a success, the guitars are sealed, to the habit with a big sound and some solis goods feel.
The rhythmic one behind assures the rock !!!
on the other hand, I will put a big damper on the aspect mélodique.
I think that this Back On Track less is inspired it on the length since the first album of the group.
The refrains trot less, indeed not at all in the head as before and a heaviness feeling releases itself certain titles and to the end, an unpleasant impression of emptiness catches me the brain.
Even the ballads suffer from this lack of inspiration.
I am sad and sorry to write that for I love SHAKRA but here, this album is for me the less attractive one in the career of the group.
The guitars leave a little sometimes in a sound more metal that pleases me less!
Without disastrous being, this album lacks all simply of inspiration and is too linear, compared to its predecessors!
Alone Unspoken Truth awakened my fiber mélodique.
AS to note also for me an opening title B True B You in the good line of the vouchers entitle group. I'll Be and Crazy that follow keeps this potential one also!
But on the body, I know that SHAKRA is able a lot better, it proved it by the passed!
the one and those that will discover SHAKRA by this album will be able to be at odds with my felt one.
on the other hand, the aficionados of the group risks feeling a small disappointment...
Appointments in 2013?

Un "MUST" ! (comme quoi, les gouts et les sons).....
Comment by Rémifm : Yes Krakal, you are right, the tastes and the colors are specific to each one (E)… I n' this album but perhaps I did not appreciate passed to side? C' is in any case the question that I am posed each time divergent opinion… Tchuss and thank you for your comment!

Cet album ne figurera pas dans le top five du groupe même si c'est du bon Shakra, mais pas le must!
