Too long to play…
Approximate translation of the review
The American name of this group is not the one of a musician, but the found name to designate Satan in an entitled novel The Omen.

Created one in 1983 close to Chicago (Illinois), DAMIEN THORNE has gone out a first one démo in 1984, followed in 1986 by Sign Of The Jackal the album that will make known groups it of by the world (Underground)!
This albums will not have any suite…avant 1998 and the MCD Former Life that put back the group in the circuit.
THEMSELVES while following three albums, Wrath Of Darkness (2001) (edited ré in 2004 chronic views on this site), Haunted Mind (2005) and at last this End Of The Game.

The group can be classified in the category of the groups as the TYRANT (US) or TYRANT’S REIGN (US), that is to say of the Heavy Metal 80’s to smells 70' s but played with a dark spirit that compares necessarily the group of the first BLACK SABBATH.

I knew only Sign Of The Jackal and Wrath Of Darkness, different albums but recommandables. The first one in a Speed Heavy Metal lightly Dark and the second more medium and dark.

End Of The Game will remain in the style of Wrath Of Darkness with, it seem to me, more of quick titles, but the envelope you will have indicated it, always as much of darkness in this Heavy Metal US à la 80’s ! If you loved the group since its beginnings will not be you out of place, on the other hand if you know not again DAMIEN THORNE, one listens previous will impose, especially if you look for only melodies.
For my party I especially found the too long album, but I was never an ultimate fan of the group (besides their last benefit to the Keep It True did not upset me).

End Of The Game is reserved to those that research of the Heavy Metal lightly techniques, speed and especially dark. It is a matter well of US Heavy Metal à la 80’s on the bottom and the song is "crude" and in the spirit of this type of Heavy, but not the one that I prefer.
AS to note the version 2012 (this is what is written) of Escape Or Die (album Sign Of The Jackal).
