Coming from 1984!
Approximate translation of the review
"It was once... An improbable temporal trip parachuted of the 80' s to our days the four young ones 'yanks – Nik, Snake, Todd and Shaun – group Glam/Hard-Rock GLAMGLITTERS. Our rock musicians decide to risk itself in unknown territory and to propagate their music." Behind this harebrained history hides itself the French musical designer Cyril TRICHET. This artist imagined a potential musical formation, anchored in a mouvance Hard-Rock, and given life to four musicians (that remind me enormously, for three of between them, Axl ROSE, Saul « Slash » HUDSON and Duff MCKAGAN). It conceived – practically of A to Z - the first album Coming From 1984 of GLAMGLITTERS. It next delegated to the Master Lab Systems, a studio of of nantes mastering, the care to produce the opus.

In any good faith, do I fear that the worshipper – the enthusiastic one? – True one Glam-Rock does not see of a bad eye this project. GLAMGLITTERS unveils a disc, for my party, more Hard-Rock N’ Roll than Glam-Rock. Of course, the held vestimentaire is placement, only the music is not it or little. That does not prevent the body of the album to be excellent.

The music is hitting, impression of a key 80' s that skillfully knew to appropriate itself Cyril TRICHET. Only damper: voice! She seems me not really to agree with the instrumental lines, especially if the basic idea is an approach "revival". An aerial, nasal voice, indeed lightly éraillée, would have been wiser for my party. Taste question! Here, it is the voice of Cyril – a hoarse wisp – that adjusts itself to the instrumental lines that its hands serve to the guitar, low and battery. Of vouchers titles go out again of Coming From 1984 as FutureGirl, Drive Me Crazy, Hot As L.A. By Night or Get Back To Reality.

Behind this likable opus, hides itself a pure and simple craving to play the Rock one but also a dream of youth. Who never has to dream, young, to clothe itself of a suit of rockstar, to inflame the scene, to be adulated and acclaimed by the public? I have the impression that Cyril TRICHET realized it through GLAMGLITTERS ! A beautiful tart, especially from an one-man one-band!
