FALC is coming from Ecuador and you will maybe discover that, has released since 1998 one Demo, three albums (1999, 2002, 2004) and a EP (2005).
I already had in my hands Mas Cerca Del Infierno (2004) and I remember a correct Hard Rock band with some Heavy Touches. But not good enough, to keep it in my collection.
So this 2002 album surprised me because without being the TOP album from 2002, it let me a better feeling at the end. The songs are well produced and will enjoy fans from Spanish melodic Hard Rock! Take few influences from MAIDEN, OZZY, OBUS and from bands such early AVALANCH and you have an indication about FALC.
Most of the songs are mid tempo melodic Hard Rock but you have three ballads and three Heavy Metal songs, Angeles Caido, Dame Mas and La Batalla del Bien y Del Mal (of course for me the three best songs !.
The last surprise was some French words on the song Sexotika !
So if you are a Spanish or South American addict you will have good times with this CD but nothing more. Style : Melodic 80's like Hard Rock
