On Wednesday November 5, 1997, we were, include/understand the instigators of l' association PLANETE MUSIC which manages the site, very excited with l' idea d' to interview ROYAL HUNT and d' to appreciate the group on scene! (Pezner - Villeurbanne (69 - France))
Our association n' how a few months had and we were already in contact with famous groups like ROYAL HUNT, and that grace, return in César its crown, Roger W and its METAL DIVISION !
I keep a delicious memory of the meeting in afternoon of Jacob KJAER, guitarist, Steen MOGENSEN, bass player and D.C. COOPER, singer! (Even if l' American accent of D.C. allowed to me not whole to integrate its answers well!)
Brief, we met adorable musicians and that is to be underlined, so much d' others having developed incredible egos…
the Singer of ROYAL HUNT, the Voice of ROYAL HUNT remainder and will remain D.C. COOPER, whose return in 2011 is a superb news!
Not that the successors have demerit, j' like d' elsewhere well Fear of 1999 but for the style of the group, D.C. COOPER is the stamp of voice and l' energy which magnifient best the compositions of genius André ANDERSEN !!!
Then, you imagine qu' with such a passion for the first albums of ROYAL HUNT, to put the images on the sound (the live of 1996 exists in double Cd!) is an experiment which fills me happiness!
Because what a show of ROYAL HUNT !!!
Its Hard-Rock, tendency FM/Symphonique/Progressif s' express fully on a splendid Japanese scene, to Tokyo and one public in fright!
Normal, ROYAL HUNT has just, of the jusqu' beginning; at the end!
D.C. COOPER is a monster of scene, as well physical as vocal and points out the tenors of the kind, from Joey TEMPEST to Jon BON JOVI while passing by Ronnie ATKINS and j' on the way of best!
This show is a lesson for all the groups in becoming! The
choruses of Maria McTURK and Lise HANSEN bring more undeniable to the music! The
All hits of the first 3 albums are joined together for 2 hours of spectacle d' an incredible intensity! The s' group; amuse even with an acoustic turn the most succeeded of before returning to finish its show into electric.
the "battle" low one/battery is d' a rare intelligence and once again underlines the high general level of the musicians of ROYAL HUNT !
André ANDERSEN is imperial behind its keyboards!

For a simple reason, the group plays Paradox (what is already a treat, l' album being certainly best group to date!) but is satisfied with that… Paradox is a concept album and the group decided sobriety, privileged a superb decoration… I think (perhaps wrongly?) that c' is an artistic choice… Good, it seems to me that l' musical hour, taking into account the quality of the compositions is in any delectable point. The
2 dvds are decorated d' images d' files you in here want some…
Notez that these 2 concerts are very well filmed and thus very pleasant to look at.

You have there the best of ROYAL HUNT, of the first 4 albums, Land Of Broken Hearts (1994), Clown In The Mirror (1995), Moving Target (1995/1996) and Paradox (1997), (of the albums that j' have pleasure with réécouter always as much!) before the new ones and many changes of personnel which will be, in my opinion, prejudicial for the group, the compositions of André they having also undergone the variables d' inspiration… jusqu' with the return of 2011 of D.C. COOPER and l' extraordinary (as by chance!) Show Me How To Live chronicle by Ben on the site!
Voilà which itches me to re-examine the group on scene, with why not one set-list as of these best years of the group and the last album…
