Fourteen years after their last studio album, VAN HALEN is back. in 2012, VAN HALEN members are David LEE ROTH on mic (back on a full lenght album after 28 years), six strings wizard Eddie VAN HALEN, his brother Alex VAN HALEN on drums and Wolfgang VAN HALEN on bass (21 this year, son of the great Eddie) .
First single Tatoo, released some weeks ago indicated a marshmallow album. Nope ! All the other songs are really rocky, full of go and the album has some nuggets.
Tracks most standing out from this record are the fabulous China Town and Big River, as well as Bullethead, She's The Woman and Stay Frosty. And you, what are your favorite tracks from this album ? Leave us your comments.
The band is in full form, we can hear it. The brothers and Diamond Dave do brilliantly and Wolfgang VAN HALEN is a really exceptional bassist.
A Different Kind Of Truth is a very good. I keep on repeating oneself but 2012 is an exceptional vintage for our favorite music.
