Approximate translation of the review
Oyez Oyez brave people, welcome to York for this new musical offering of BLACKMORE'S NIGHT.
Small reminders, it is in 1997 that appeared duet Ritchie BLACKMORE, legendary guitarist of DEEP PURPLE and RAINBOW and the singer Candice NIGHT.
Our two musicians dividing equally the layer.
as much I must acknowledge a love for what to realized Ritchie within the two quoted groups higher, as much I have a crazy evil to adhere to this medieval music.
It does not there have obviously that the voices of the Lord that are impenetrable.
The first album of 1997, under the effect of the surprise but also quality of the work pleased me but I stopped myself there!
there were nevertheless other albums, of the live and this A Night In York is even the third dvd to the active one formation.
Goods, useless to say you that all the musicians play level exceptional, that Ritchie always is the same on scene, impassive, leaving its hands to speak for him...
as for the beautiful one Candice, she radiates of thousand fires, impregnated of this universe moyenâgeux.
AS to wonder if these two there are not reincarnations of spirits having lived to the Middle Ages!
I find our two embarked partners in their universe and they seem happy, we presenting even the fruit of their love on scene, to knowledge a pretty and silent granddaughter.
A scene of the live that appeared me outside the time, just as this strange passage of a return of Lady GAGA.
Brief, a spectacle a not very lunar for me even if musically, this is the party!!!
And when Ritchie, with its small moulinets of star takes the electric guitar, I must say that I regret that it does not return on what it knows to do better, voucher old (Hard)-Rock of the years 70!
Brief, all the musicians are to be greeted, they are numerous and play the era instruments, violin and other flutes indeed even cornemuse to the menu.
Ritchie has fun themselves with its guitars, moulinets equally for the mandolin.
even if impervious to this universe that I respect, I must underline the quality of compositions and of interpretations of this contemporary approach of the medieval music.
A small neoclassical passage recalls us what Ritchie had devellopé on some classics of RAINBOW...
Brief, beautiful work for the one and those that have a friendly approach of this style, a boredom whirlwind for the others.
This concerts was recorded to York (you visible some streets and keeps by way of introduction of the concert), September 30 2011.
AS to note that Candice NIGHT view for the occasion EMI springs his first album solo, officially appeared last year and entitled Reflections.
Oyez oyez brave people, come to feast in company of these joyous one and talentueux minstrels!
