I want morre!!!
Approximate translation of the review
2011 see to return
MORRE
, "combo" Canadian, with
Contrast
, a
EP
6 titles!
After a first album
Out There
already runs (31 minutes for 8 titles) but grandiose, I am said that
MORRE
could have awaited a little and go out a complete album.
Here a strange artistic choice.
But the joy is also to the chapter for frustration is maintained by the quality of the body.
The group again ripened and his music itself feels some, loses weight while moving away itself a little the
Rock
more muscular one of the first album. (Except the excellent one
Stray Dog
)
Sounds
Rock
slips towards some "mid-tempos" or sensual ballads.
I Can't Remember
is sublime and could figure in the catalog of
BLACKFIELD
. Just as a part of
Renegades
! The "na na na" refrain remains scotché to the ciboulot!
Bring You Back
that clôt the work takes us on the earths of the Irish ballads and is a total success.
Jen MAHON
, wonderful singer came to carry his voice on this ballad and that to say, if is cheer!
And on the demonic one and sensual
Lady Of Lust
, the heat climbs of a notch,
Jen
bringing a part of his sensuality on this magnificent title. ..qui still causes me to think about
BLACKFIELD
!
Brief,
MORRE
continues distilled his
Rock
marks with many influences, the one of the big ones of the
Rock
!
I understand not why our French oriented radios
Pop/Pop-Rock
do not seize themselves any these albums for some to broadcast the titles...
But that is again another history...
Go, let's hope that the next announced album for soon will be that level and especially, a little longer!
I Want MORRE
