Frost * there it stings!
Approximate translation of the review
A year and a half after Milliontown (2006), Jem GODFREY gave cover at the end of the year 2008 and has once again concocted a menu of its own! It is new in the kitchen surrounded by drummer Andy EDWARDS (IQ), guitarist John MITCHELL (ARENA, IT BITES, Kino, The Urban ...) and bassist John Jowitt (IQ, JADIS). A newcomer among FROST * : DecBURKE, who officiates at singing (and guitar too).
Without being outstanding, the voice of the latter is very pleasant and almost forget the limits of to Jem Milliontown.

Experiments In Mass Appeal was remarkable that this has nothing to do with its predecessor! Except perhaps this energy and these influences scattered SPOCK'S BEARD. This new album eye to more modern sounds, enhanced by a sound and production copies, and is without doubt the most accomplished level melodies, very catchy. As fabulous Sun Pocket and with Toys later MUSE in hell; to Toys flambéed alcohol ACT (Album Silence 2006) and chained to the sublime You / I. The energy developed through the guitars and rhythm, but also to the construction of the compositions is enhanced by the calm beaches within a single title: Experiments In Mass Appeal and its superb final melodic Welcome to Nowhere and affects PORCUPINE TREE. Captivating! A near mid-service, with Saline, * FROST is a ballad so welcome Normano hole. Dear Dead Days Rock energetic and modern, it is in the air time, close to a Pop Rock electrified. Remains anecdotal Falling Down and the very long title that closes this album: Wonderland (more than 15 minutes). Here, for against, I remain somewhat on my hunger. Not that this title is bad, but it lost my taste for flavor. More or less divided into two parts by several seconds of silence, the first tendency is progressive rock, cool without more, while the second part .... and ends with piano notes for 3 minutes. Very Progressive soul in all this but hey ... Since Jem GODFREY a seemingly composed 25 tracks for this new album, why have not played the card of the artistic and musical rather than to share with us the title? He had to have two or three other titles in the vein of Experiments In Mass Appeal, Welcome to Nowhere, Pocket Sun or Toys! As always, this is just a taste and I take my writings!

But this album is really pleasant to listen to and even if the fans Milliontown does not necessarily find it, this change proves that wanted FROST *and chef has more than a spice in its bag.
