To finish our x-ray on the 3 groups present this Saturday at the Bit of Zinc with l' occasion of l' birthday of Integral Metal, an exchange all in lightness with Paul, the singer of the group!

- Hello Paul , can you briefly present to us your group and your musical style, your principal influences?
Whole d' access hello with all l' equip and thank you for this small interview! Heavylution is thus… a band of 5 bourrins coming from Saint-Etienne (astonishing!) who proposes Heavy enough speed influenced by Coluche and Pierre Billon. In d' other terms: the large fronts of Megadeth, the good melody of Gamma Ray, the solos of guitar going from Saxon to Firewind while passing by the song of Iron Maiden, and the aggressiveness of the large thrasheurs are liked. Add 2 liters of beer, and to serve any expenses in your face!!
- Since how long is the group it on this project?
Since good too a long time as all the groups which still play in the bars haha!! We began at the end of 2006 it seems to me, date on which the formation s' is supplemented with l' arrived from Laurent behind the barrels and which remained since our official logger.
Our first concert took place in September 2007, but we really started to play in a more regular way after the exit our demonstration c' is to be said to the end l' summer 2008.
D' elsewhere as long as j' there I am will present how the s' group; is thus formed so as me you find that shitting in the interviews c' is the moment to jump a paragraph! At the beginning of the beginning, Franck and myself planes integrated an small group of resumptions of rock'n'roll/hard rock around Nos 15 or 16 years and made flee one by all other musicians to finish by us finding between fans of Heavy, therefore both. Obviously us n' planes not of singer and after some research which n' finally ever ended I started to sing while playing of the guitar to start. After 2 years of practice, j' preferred to devote itself to the song with whole share, and we recruited a second " vrai" guitarist, Olivier. By chance it is about as reached as the others thus it is him also always there. The line-up is thus relatively stable what is frankly a good thing for the long run. Unfortunately all the good things have an end and you will discover which curse will strike us d' here a month approximately in next the question…
- Which are your achievements in terms of demonstrations and CD? Does your way of composing evolve/move since the first hours of the group? In which direction?
We sell 2 CDs:
2008 - Metal is our blood : our demonstration enough heavy 80' S, rather returns inside.
2011 - The Architect : our first EP with a notable heavy-lution in the compos, the words. Technically this CD is well above the precedent on all the levels and allowed us to progress in a notable way. More personality also in the composition, with a heavy sometimes heavier on the level of the fronts, and a song often higher and aggressive, less stereotyped 80s'. Finally one lets to you discover all that on reverbnation or myspace…
Concerning our way of composing, one will make simple: there d' does not have; leader, therefore I propose ideas and everyone accepts! Included/understood??
the majority of the fronts of the demonstration were trimmed with Franck, and generally I finalize the compo. For example the front d' intro of Riffolution was composed with Franck on disconnected electric guitar delivering a pretty sound of curling, but harmonized mandoline s' you like it. With time j' took a little of more than place in the compo thus j' composed most of l' EP, while integrating ideas of each one what makes ego mix it d'Heavylution. Alexis for example provided some fronts on Dehumanization that I n' could ever have composed with my spirit limited of heavy-métalleux, and it also composed l' intro with the piano which I find terrible! On the other hand, it is necessary to recognize I am breakage testicle when j' have an precise idea at the head and I generally make left qu' there; she is interpreted as in my head, which n' is not inevitably obvious to include/understand for another head! And it is true that l' EP was a little like a large precise idea of 30min.
But you reassure, I do not hope to be l' single type-setter of the group with l' future even because even if we are convinced that the choruses and the melodies bring much d' impact and depth with the pieces, Heavy is before a a whole music of guitarists with close-cropped solos the mouth!
- Your most outstanding scenes…?
One will start with the largest history to make good impression: the first part of Paul Di Anno at the Slaughter-houses of Bourgoin-Jallieu! A superb scene with a sound on very clean scene, in short of the extraordinary conditions, in first d' part; a legend. In short that fout of the shivers to unload it above! In the same register we made Seyssuel Fest l' last year with a super scene and a very accessible team really.
Généralement the most outstanding concerts are especially those where there is more d' environment and the most intense memories come the depths of Thunderbird (Saint-Etienne). The first time that people started to sing our pieces that also turned over us the slibard.
D' elsewhere c' is of worse into worse since when the room is full people are returned inside during an hour not-stop, and I believe that the signal on this level c' was our last concert it low with JC Jess and Holy Cross since it was a brothel monster!
Our first concert in Chambéry was a kind of revelation also, since we do not expect to see as much world to move on our pieces whereas we unload for the first time. Free with you d' to interpret that like licking of intensive bottom in order to heat the public for Saturday, but l' environment is generally extra with Brinc de Zinc, that sings much, l' environment is really hyper convivial!
And recently, small surprise, we went to play Lyon with Metal Coffee, after 4 years d' absence in Lyon. And the room was full and people sang all along the concert, super reception and surprised gross!
- Which is l' topicality of the group?
One left our first clip in d' beginning; year, and spent not badly time to canvass and make comm'. The results start to arrive since we badly do not on dates for the re-entry of September.
In less the good news, we duty will change line-up for the first time, since Franck will stop, for lack of time. One is thus in full research d' a guitarist who can replace it. C' is really a large change since Franck is there since the beginnings of the group, and qu' it acquired a certain level and quite personal touch with time. In addition to that one cannot say that it is the least funny of l' equip, therefore the substitute has job!
There remain to us still 3 concerts with him, including that of Chambéry and then we will devote ourselves to the repetitions with the new guitarist.
-… and projects to come?
To find a guitarist! Research should succeed d' here l' summer normally. Then like I l' said, repetitions with the gratteux one, then a whole series in concerts to the re-entry of September:
September -29: Mâcon with Fire Wizzard
September -30: Dijon - Rising fest
- October: Lyon
- November 17: Grenoble with Whysky of blood and Electric Shock
+ d' other concerts in progress on Sainté, Clermont and perhaps one doubled on Lyon if all occurs well.
One also will prepare l' album since not badly of compos not finalized are already outlined. On the other hand one does not prefer to announce of date since us n' still defined anything, but if you do not see anything leaving d' here approximately 2 years c' is qu' one will have surely splitté!!
- A short note to finish, with the readers of the webzine and the metalleux potentials present on June 2?
