Biography :
The band is born in November 2002, thanks to the will of Gino Binchi (Drums), who involves immediately Andrea Recinelli (Lead and Rythm Guitar) and Luca Marconi (Vocals) in the project. After a short time of research also Giorgio Taraschi (Bass) and Aldo Quartapelle (Rythm Guitar) join the band.The goal of the band is to create their own music and to play it in front of an audience, so they begin working hard and with good results.In May 2004 they record their first Demo, called "The battle of life", made of four tracks, that soon receives very good reviews from italian Webzines and from specialized magazines.
In the meanwhile the band performs in several zones and clubs of its city, making their music known to the people.Between April and May of 2005 they record their first autoproduced full-length , called "Life, death...eternity",made of ten tracks.
In the same year the band takes part to a national concourse, called "Emergenza Festival", arriving at the regional final, that takes place in Pescara on 10th of July, coming second.From the 28th to the 30th of July 2005 the band takes part in another national concourse called "Fuoritempo", that takes place in Fabriano, winning the first prize.
In Semptember of the same year there is a little change of line-up. Giorgio leaves and Paolo Di Rocco (Keyboards) and Ignazio Semproni (Bass) join the band.
In March 2006 the band takes part and wins a regional concourse, called "Save the music".
On the 29th of April of the same year, the band takes part and wins another concourse, called "Teramo Music Festival", so it has the possibility to play on the same stage of Paola Turci (an Italian pop-singer) and Bandabardò (an Italian folk band) on the 30th of April 2006 for the event "Aspettando il primo maggio" (Waiting for the 1st of May). So the band played in front of more than two-thousands people.From the 3rd to the 8th of June, they take part in "Music Village", after passing the national selections, and so they play on front of record-company, music critics and musical producers, receiving great success both from critics and from the other bands.From June to August 2006 the band takes part and wins another national concourse, called "Woodstock's Sons & Devil's Reject", winning the first prize and receiving great success from people and from critics.On the 9th of november the band takes part and wins another regional concourse.
In March 2007 the band takes part to a national concourse,called "1° maggio tutto l'anno" (the 1st of May the whole year), but it isn't selected for the national phase, even if the band receives good votes.
On the 21st of June they win another contest called "Summer season Opening" in Mattinata (Fg), receiving very good success from the pubblic and from the judges present for the event.
In this moment the band continues in taking gigs and in taking part to concourses in which it is involved, always hoping to find something that could make the "great step".
In September of the same year Ignazio leaves Picaroon's Spark, because he can't follow anymore the band as he did before. The split is very friendly, in fact the relationship remains unchanged! Good luck Iggy!
Meanwhile the band takes part to another concourse, called Tour Music Fest, arriving at the national semi-final.
In this period Giorgio Taraschi joins again the band, and Picaroon's Spark begins one more time to make rehearsal and to compose new songs, until, always in Semptember, they sign a discographic deal for Videoradio of Giuseppe Aleo, so they see their new album "Nightfeast in highfires wood", that will be out in December 2007, distributed all around Italy. In April 2008, the band takes part and wins another national contest in Forlì, called "Village Music", that had more than eighty bands in its rooster.
Now the goal is more clearer than ever. To promote their music all around, trying to perform more and more to create their own space in the music scene, to make a "spark become a high fire" .
After having reached this little targets, the will of going on is alive more than ever...
