The Wave 07:02
Hold down the wave All drown the same Nooo, nooo Nooo, nooo Break down the wave All drown the same Hold on, she said Breathe in the air Nooo, nooo Nooo, nooo Washed up, on shore The s(h)ea, wants more Hold on... Hold on... Let go... Let go... Hold on... Let go...
3.
It comes to me, I don't care, honestly It stings for a while I don't feel a thing And then it's gone I'm all alone It comes right back to you, when you don't know You will find the way, as you go And then it's gone What did I do wrong? What did I do wrong? And then it comes to me, I don't care
4.
Into the fire Help me find out Long way down Long way home Hear the flame, cry out your name Long way down Long way home Into the woods Hide beneath the trees Run away Hide away Chase you down Burn the ground Run away, from the flame
5.
The Witch 07:17
(I see the witch on fire) (Can you see? Yes) (She's on fire. Show us the witch) (I see a priest beside her) (Where? The priest, is, beside her) (She must burn!) I see the burning fire I see the flames go higher Burn down the whole empire/burned on the holy pyre See how the people conspire I see the burning fire I see the flames go higher Gathering for the choir Sing out as loud, as you can As she burns As the soul of the witch has left this world, another one is born Doomed by the villains Her final breath is a cry to dead ears The vision a sight for blinded eyes She now rests, Far... away... from... home... Far away Far away from home Far away Far away from home Far away Far away from home Far away Far away from home

about

DÖDAREN's second full-length album, "Passage", was recorded between January and November 2015. It is the result of a long development process for the band that started right after the release of their previous album, Maen, in 2012. The product of hundreds of hours of work in the rehearsal room, an arduous process of writing, throwing away, rewriting, Passage displays a significant change in DÖDAREN’s evolution.

Where Maen was built upon clean vocals with Swedish lyrics, adventurous riffs and boogie influences, Passage renders a deeper and darker picture, with English lyrics, alternating growl vocals, down-tuned distorted guitars, and long monotone passages.

Passage embodies the epitome of DÖDAREN's style; at times hard-hitting, heavy and intense, while at the same time containing occasional softer passages that embed the album's unique style of progressive metal, creating a vibrant wide ranged album that covers a broad spectrum of emotion.
