With the image of its small pocket, MOTHER MISERY officiates in a current style, the look of the musicians also involves us far from the Heavy Métal 80’s or of the Hard Rock 80' S…

This Swedish group is not with its first attempt judge rather; Grandiosity (2004), For The Crows (one MCD of 2006), All Eyes On You (2007) and finally this Standing Alone which enables me to discover MOTHER MISERY !

to become fan of this group it will be necessary for you to have a particular affection for the Punk Rock of the 90 ' S and the Metal Rock of the 2000!
I will make most precise possible (finally as much as a non-specialist of the kind can it) by helping me of the influences quoted by certain foreign sites…

FOO FIGHTERS, AUDIOSLAVE, DROWNING POOL, MUSTASCH are quote by the label, me I will add there a kind of COLLECTIVE SOUL (American group of the 90 ' S) in version Heavy Metal or Hard Rock, to see a little OFFSPRING !
D'ailleurs the label qualified the style of Swedish from “Supersonic Rock ” and my faith, it is rather relevant!

Each composition is a true treat, mingling with wonder the riffs incisive ones, the accrocheuses melodies, of the feeling and a song, certainly commercial but dynamic, aggressive in the good sense of the term. The
refrains are worthy of largest and only two or three can be qualified “the least good”…

a music which goes to essence and which will put to you of an invigorating mood the morning while leaving to work or before leaving to have fun the festival the week end !

I will not be very long on this chronicle and I will conclude just by inviting you to quickly discovering them because for me MOTHER MISERY, without being very original, fact left all the best of the kind!
