Approximate translation of the review

Born from ashes of the group Heavy-Metal Switzerland GENOCIDE, by the will of singer Roland PIERREHUMBERT and the rhythmic guitarist Fred GUDIT, SIDEBURN hatches in 1997. First offering the same year, Sell Your Soul (For Rock ‘n’ Roll) deviates of its initial trajectory: the orientation of fire GENOCIDE is pushed back in favour of one Hard-Rock Traditional. They gain a notoriety quickly, giving access to them the “large scene” in company from the legendary KISS. After a short silence, SIDEBURN déboule in 2001 with out of pocket the opus Crocodile, followed of Gasoline in 2004 and Cherry Red in 2006.

O joy, O happiness, in 2010, our Swiss take again the road of the studio to start their new recordings with Beau HILL. A similar name in mobility Hard-Rock does not pass unperceived any more! It is the Mister production of the 80 ' S, today less fine mouth than in the past… With the number of discs signed recently Beau HILL, it seems that the catch was resigned to accept that music industry to evolve/move and that these are difficult times for all and all. Lastly, 2011 being with our doors, the quintet of SIDEBURN reveals its new album entitled Jail.

Jail ?!? Diantre, why name its baby “Prison”? Undoubtedly they at the thank you of their influences are so much which they feel imprisoned, wedged in a yoke of which they do not dare to be withdrawn.

After all his beautiful reflexions, I propose to you that we consider the music. SIDEBURN has leaning for the “basic one”, the “traditional one” or the “traditional one” (choose the term which you sied). The currency is summarized finally by “simple and effective”. They is twelve titles with the support which SIDEBURN tent to prove to us the founded good of their music. This style will remain in my eyes surface immersed of the iceberg. For my part, SIDEBURN drowns in an extremely exploited concept, even if I cannot reproach them a beautiful production! City : Cugy	Genocide avait même sorti une K7 de Heavxy-Speed mortel vers 1988 et un MCD 4 titres d'enfer intitulé Roots in Rock en 1990, avec des titres à la Accept absolument impeccables. Pour ma part, je ne peux que déplorer que ce groupe n'ait pas été allemand au début des années nonante, ils auraient pu cartonner. Leur évolution récente est sympa, mais j'ai une petite préférence nostalgique pour leurs premiers titres Comment by Axldobby : Thank you for your com' and them precise details! :) that feels impassioned:)

City : CHAMBERY	GENOCIDE ! Dommage que ne nom du groupe ait pu en effrayer certains car il y a eu d'excellents titres comme sur leur deux albums Showtime de 1993 (plus Heavy Metal) et Stranded (plus Hard Rock) ! Leur premier 4 titres sorti en vinyl en 1990, Roots In Rock est Heavy Metal et pas facile à trouver aujourd'hui !
